Bikes Provided

We will provide mountain bikes and helmets for the tour. They are good quality entry level bikes and are kept in good condition. We bring most bicycle spares to fix the bike if necessary.

You can bring your own bike if you want, but please bring some spares because we may not be able to provide spares for your particular bicycle.

Clothing

You will need to bring you own cycling clothing. The days can be very sunny in Hainan, therefore you should take precautions to avoid sun-burn. Such as long-sleeves and sun block.

Accommodation

We provide accommodation in good quality hotels. These are typically 3 to 4 star  standard. In small rural areas the quality of hotel maybe lower than that available in bigger cities. 

Cycling Tour Level and Terrain

Our bike tours are suitable for all ranges of experience - beginner, intermediate, and advanced. We will assess your cycling experience and fitness then make adjustments to fit your level. We have full vehicle support to help you if you want a rest at any point.

Meals

Meals will generally be Chinese food. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements. Personal snacks or alcohol is not included in the price.

Exclusions

You need to make sure you have a valid Chinese visa. You also need to make sure that you have adequate travel insurance. We do NOT provide visas or insurance.

We do NOT pay for your flights to Haikou, Hainan. You must book these yourself.
